We feel that the people, businesses and governments that have helped Isle Saint-Jean Farm are all partners of ours.  In particular those that help us make our goods – like South Shore Soaps, and MacAusland’s Wollen Mills – and the many restaurants that use our use our products.

Please read on below to learn more about our partners, including a map of locations where our Isle Saint-Jean Farm products are transformed by talented chefs into true culinary delights.

New Partners!

As of summer 2018 we are delighted to announce we are also now partnered with a local Amish family!  We will still be breeding sheep at our farm, but the milking will be done at their place.  This will allow us to focus on product development and marketing.

Partner Profiles

MacAusland’s Woollen Mills

Isle Saint-Jean Farm shears our lambs and sends the virgin wool to MacAusland’s Woollen Mills where they create wool blankets, throws and yarn.

Crafting beautiful wool blankets and wool yarn has been the specialty of MacAusland’s Woollen Mills of Prince Edward Island since 1932 – a family business that prides itself on old-fashioned craftsmanship.

MacAusland’s is the only mill in Atlantic Canada still producing traditional woollen blankets of 100% virgin wool yarn.  Because of the high quality of the wool, the blankets are lighter than most wool blankets, but last a lifetime.

MacAusland’s wool blankets have enduring quality. In recent years, a customer returned with the woollen blanket purchased before the Second World War to have the edges re-hemmed!

South Shore Soaps

Although South Shore Soaps was specializing in goat soap, Isle Saint-Jean Farm approached them to see if there was an opportunity to use our sheep’s milk to produce high quality soap – and Isle Saint-Jean Farm sheep’s milk soap was born!

South Shore Soaps is a small family farm on the south shore of PEI overlooking the Northumberland straight. They started making goat’s milk soap in an effort to improve their own skin and health. With research and testing they have developed their own everyday natural soap recipe that has proved very successful with sheep’s milk as well.

South Shore Soaps is a member of The Handcrafted Bath & Body Guild Canada, registered with Health Canada, and works within the guidelines of the Canadian Cosmetic Act.
